September at a glance
The month opened with the position carried over from August: a 0.37 BNB long at an average price of roughly 691.07 USDT. It closed on 3 September at 699.30 USDT for +2.69 USDT after September costs. From there, Aggressive kept working across four perpetual-futures markets.
The base for the month was a 382.79 USDT balance: 350 USDT of starting capital plus 32.79 USDT of profit realized in August. The profit was not withdrawn but kept working in the strategy, so the base grows with each month’s result. The strategy completed 30 trades. Every one closed positive after trading fees and funding, producing 31.74 USDT in realized profit — 8.29% of the September base.
None of it required manual chart watching, entries or exits from us. The strategy did the trading and earned the money automatically, without our direct participation in each trade.
One BNB position remained open at the end of September. It is described at the end of the report and is not part of the realized result.
Where the month’s profit came from
BNBUSDT made the largest contribution: 12 closed trades produced 18.14 USDT, a little over 57% of the monthly result. SOLUSDT added 6.63 USDT across eight trades, ETHUSDT 5.52 USDT across eight and HYPEUSDT 1.45 USDT across two.
August was led by SOL. In September the balance shifted: BNB delivered more than half of the profit, while HYPE barely appeared.
| Market | Trades closed | Monthly result |
|---|---|---|
| BNBUSDT | 12 | +18.14 USDT |
| SOLUSDT | 8 | +6.63 USDT |
| ETHUSDT | 8 | +5.52 USDT |
| HYPEUSDT | 2 | +1.45 USDT |
The month’s pace: two waves of activity
The first 14 trades closed by 14 September, followed by a pause: the next one finished on 16 September. The busiest stretch ran from 18 to 21 September, when another 14 trades closed in four days — nearly half of the month.
Among the 29 cycles opened and closed within September, the median holding time was 5 hours 34 minutes. Five positions closed in under an hour, 23 within a day and six took longer.
No further trades closed after 21 September. The strategy was busy with a single BNB position that kept building as the price declined.
How the Aggressive strategy traded
The pattern was unchanged: cross margin, x6 leverage, a long entry, a modest upward move captured and extra size added when a lower price offered a better place to build.
Nine of the 30 closed trades contained more than one entry. Adding lower pulled down the average price of the full position, so the market did not need to return to the first purchase for the cycle to finish in profit.
The other 21 cycles were short: one entry, a small move up, an exit. They supplied most of the trade count and a steady result, typically 0.5–1.5 USDT per trade.
Trade of the month: two BNB entries
One of the clearest examples was the BNB trade from 14 to 16 September. The first entry was 0.16 BNB at 726.20 USDT. As the market slipped, the strategy added 0.21 BNB at 708.00.
Size grew to 0.37 BNB and the average entry dropped to 715.87 USDT. On 16 September the whole position closed at 723.90 USDT. Price never got back to the first entry, yet the lower average let the cycle finish with +2.62 USDT after costs.
Position notional reached about 264.87 USDT. At x6 leverage, estimated initial margin before fees was roughly 44.15 USDT.
Three more trades that shaped the month
BNB, ETH and SOL produced similar averaging cycles. In each, the strategy added size below its first entry and closed the combined position once the market recovered.
| Trade | Entries and exit | Result |
|---|---|---|
| BNB, 11–12 September | 0.16 at 740.20; 0.20 at 721.60; exit at 738.10 | +2.58 USDT |
| ETH, 19–20 September | 0.04 at 2,658.90; 0.05 at 2,584.44; exit at 2,638.11 | +1.43 USDT |
| SOL, 9–11 September | 0.5 at 104.73; 0.8 at 100.68; exit at 103.36 | +1.31 USDT |
The result after every trading cost
Closed trades produced 37.57 USDT before costs. Trading fees totalled 5.65 USDT and net funding cost 0.18 USDT. After both, realized profit for September was 31.74 USDT.
Measured against the 382.79 USDT base, that is 8.29%. Excluding any mark-to-market value from the position still open at month-end, the calculated balance after closed trades reached 414.53 USDT.
The average closed trade earned roughly 1.06 USDT and the median 1.09 USDT. Earnings per trade were higher than in August, so fees took a smaller share: about 15% of the pre-cost result against nearly 20% a month earlier.
What carried into October
A 0.57 BNBUSDT long remained open at the end of September. It was built in three entries: 0.14 at 806.30 on 21 September, 0.19 at 786.80 on 22 September and 0.24 at 761.80 on 23 September. The average price was roughly 781.06 USDT and entry notional was 445.21 USDT.
The position is excluded from both the 31.74 USDT profit and the 8.29% figure. At the 30 September funding mark of 769.20 USDT it sat slightly below its average, an unrealized difference of about −6.76 USDT. That cycle will finish in the next reporting period.
September in short: Aggressive kept its pace, closed all 30 trades positive and needed no manual trading from us. The next report will show how the carried position ended.
